Dr Dias is a Consultant in Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare and Psychosexual Medicine and has been Lead for Psychosexual Medicine at London North West University Health Care NHS Trust; and for Contraception and Sexual Health in Harrow since 2009.

Anusha has expertise in two main areas. One is non-operative gynaecology with specific focus on all methods of contraception including insertion of IUDs/IUS, contraceptive implants and gynaecological screening. Her other area of expertise is in psychosexual medicine including psychological issues in obstetrics and gynaecology, pain with sex, loss of libido, vulvodynia and she provides comprehensive care for women with sexual difficulties resulting in infertility including vaginismus and non- consummation.

She is a trained forensic gynaecologist and treats women following sexual assault and rape. Anusha has an interest in undergraduate and postgraduate education and runs nationally recognised courses for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and is a Regional Training Advisor. She has published extensively and lectures widely.

She is on the Advisory Board of Sexplain, a not-for-profit organisation that provides comprehensive and inclusive sex and relationships education workshops for young people in the UK.


Contraceptive consultation

Includes a full history and examination; a review of contraceptive choices, prescription and fit; and a written report to your GP with aftercare advice.

Menstrual dysfunction management

Includes diagnosis and management of menstrual irregularity (e.g. Heavy menstrual bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome).

Painful Sex

A comprehensive holistic approach to identifying the causes of painful sex including vaginismus, vulvodynia, chronic dermatoses, traumatic injury, and sensitive management of the consequences of this very distressing condition.

Fertility investigations

A full range of investigations to understand the cause of your infertility which includes blood tests to check hormone levels, internal scans and HSG (hysterosalpingogram) which assesses the uterine cavity and checks the fallopian tubes.

Sexual Health screening

A discreet, confidential sexual health screen which will include taking blood for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis, as well as taking genital swabs and a urine sample.

Cervical screening

A screening test which detects abnormal cells on the cervix (neck of the womb).

Vaginal discharge

A comprehensive approach which includes a full history, examination and range of investigations including blood tests, vaginal swabs and urine sample.
